The official long stay car park for Stansted. Offering regular free transfers to the Terminals.
Directions: Exit the M11 at Junction 8, follow signs to Stansted Airport. At the roundabout take 1st exit, sign posted Long Stay Car Park. The Pink Elephant car park entrance is 400 yards on the left.
Transfers from airport: Go to Long Stay Car Park Bus Stop which is situated in front of the airport terminal building.
Timings of transfers: Operate 24 hours every 15-20 minutes and take approximately 10-20 minutes. Please allow 40 minutes for check in/parking/transfer from Pink Elephant.
Security Measures: Secure, Well Lit, covered by CCTV
Facilities for the disabled: Parking spaces for Blue Badge holders in Zone Q. Help points at bus stops to request pick up. Wheelchair access on the courtesy coaches.
Entry & Exit Procedures The Entry and Exit procedures at Pink Elephant Standsted Long Stay Car Park have been improved for customers that have booked using credit or debit cards. Please follow the instructions set out below to ensure your smooth entry and exit from the car park. Your booking is NOT valid in any other car park at Stansted. To find the Long Stay Car park leave the M11 at Junction 8a if travelling Northbound or Junction 8 travelling Southbound, then follow the signs for the LONG STAY CAR PARK.
ENTRY PROCEDURE: On arrival at the entry barriers to the car park simply insert the credit or debit card with which you made the booking ensuring the magnetic stripe is facing down and to the right. A ticket will be issued and your unique reference number will appear at the beginning of the print, the barrier will open. Follow the signs to the open zone - On Exit follow EXIT PROCEDURE 1 below. If you have failed to gain entry with your credit or debit card follow EXIT PROCEDURE 2 below.
EXIT PROCEDURE 1: Drive to the exit barrier, insert the ticket and the barrier will raise. EXIT PROCEDURE 2: Go to the Payment Office situated on the left-hand side just before the exit barrier where your booking will be processed manually. You should not attempt to use the Car Park Payment machines located in the Baggage Reclaim Area of the Main Standsted Airport Terminal. If you overstay your pre-booked period you will be charged the appropriate gate price for that element of your stay.
