Parking Options You can book 3 types of airport parking at Birmingham
Off-airport parking ( APH Birmingham and Airparks Birmingham) At both of these airport car parks you will be asked to leave you car at the reception office and one of the car park staff will park it for you in the secure compound. These car parks tend to offer a higher level of security than on-airport car parks. Both of our car parks at Birmingham Airport hold the Association of Chief Police Officers Award for security.
On-airport parking (NCP Multi-storey 3 Birmingham, Airport Long Stay 1) At these car parks you will need to find your own space in the indicated area when you enter the car park. From some car parks at Birmingham you can walk to the terminal or alternatively transfer coaches operate from bus stops located throughout the car park. If you are travelling with your family or have a large amount of luggage it might be worth dropping off your luggage and passengers at the bus stop before parking, to avoid carrying your luggage. Please note we recommend that you write down the area in which your car is parked and the bus stop you use to make it easier to locate your car on return. This service can be pre-booked with APH.
Meet & Greet (Meteor Meet & Greet) formerly CPS. This service is the quickest and easiest way to park as you simply drive straight to the airport terminal and don’t have any waiting around to catch a transfer coach. It does cost a little more than some of the other parking options but we think its well worth it.
Departure terminal: Both airport terminals at Birmingham airport are located next to each other and therefore this will not affect your choice of car park.
Your route to the airport: The Motorway network around the airport is very busy particularly at peak times (7am to 10am and 4pm to 7pm weekdays). We would advise that you allow extra time if you are planning to arrive at the airport during these times. Both Terminals are easily reached from the M42 Motorway. If you choose to park at one of the off-airport car parks then its worth checking which route you will be using to get to the airport. If you are travelling from the North or East via the M6 or M42 then you route will take you straight past APH. From The South or Central Birmingham your route is more convenient for Airparks.
