How to get to Edinburgh Airport
Located just west of Scotland's capital city, Edinburgh Airport lies within easy reach of the country's main road network taking you throughout Scotland and beyond.
There is easy access to the airport from the two level junction on the A8 midway between the Gorgar and Newbridge roundabouts.
If approaching from the Edinburgh side join the A8 from the city bypass and proceed towards Glasgow. From the North and West you should join the A8 at the Newbridge roundabout and proceed towards Edinburgh. The airport is clearly sign posted on the A8.

Shopping at Edinburgh Airport
Shopping at Edinburgh Airport is also an experience. Within the International Departure lounge there are branches of household names such as Alpha, Best of Scotland, Books etc, Boots Health and Beauty, Impulse Music, Jenners, Rolling Luggage, Thornton's and Tie Rack.

Most shops are open between 6am and 10pm.

After security control there is a large selection of duty and tax free stores available for all passengers, offering a saving of up to 17.5%. The benefits of the Shopping Collection Service is also available for travellers to a destination within European Union. Buy what you want, yes even those fragile or larger items and then collect your purchases from the designated area upon return to the UK, saving the hassle of carrying then around with you while you are away.
