Online Essentials offer the best choice of car parks serving Heathrow airport. We can offer you a choice of at least 17 car parks. In order to select the car park that suits you best you need to consider a number of factors:
Parking Options You can book 3 types of parking at Heathrow; On airport, off airport or meet and greet.
Off-airport parking (Purple Parking, UB8 Parking, Economy Parking, Q Parking, Reeds Service Park, Courtlands) At all of these car parks you will be asked to leave you car at the reception office and one of the car park’s staff will park it for you in the secure compound. These car parks tend to offer a higher level of security than on-airport car parks.
On-airport parking (Parking Express, Business Parking, Terminal 5 Long Stay, ) At these car parks you will need to find your own space in the indicated area when you enter the car park. Transfer coaches operate from bus stops located throughout the car park. If you are travelling with your family or have a large amount of luggage it might be worth dropping off your luggage and passengers at the bus stop before parking, to avoid carrying your luggage. Please note we recommend that you write down the area in which your car is parked and the bus stop you use to make it easier to locate your car on return.
Meet and Greet This service is the quickest and easiest way to park as you simply drive straight to the terminal and don’t have any waiting around to catch a transfer coach. It does cost a little more than some of the other parking options but we think it's well worth it. Choose from Purple Parking Meet & Greet, Meteor Meet & Greet, MBW Valet Parking or Official Valet Parking.
Departure terminal: Heathrow airport has 5 terminals. Terminals 1,2 and 3 are co-located on the north side of the airport near to the M4 Motorway. Terminal 4 is located on the south side of the airport. It is important therefore to find out which terminal you are using in order to check the transfer time from the car park you select. Our car park information clearly states the transfer time to each terminal. If you are travelling from Terminal 5 we offer the Terminal 5 Long Stay car park.
Your route to the airport: The roads around the airport are very busy particularly at peak times (7am to 10am and 4pm to 7pm weekdays). We would advise that you allow extra time if you are planning to arrive at the airport during these times.
Minimum stays: You'll often find that the on-airport car parks which are geographically closest the terminals often have a minimum stay which can make them look expensive for a short trip or weekend beak. These car parks are owned by the airport and they set their pricing tariffs to prevent business travellers from pre-booking parking for their business trips.
Long Term Parking: If you are flying on a long haul holiday and are going to be away for a number of weeks then look out for fantastic long stay offers. You can park at either Purple Parking or Q Park London Heathrow for a month for less than £100.
