Transfers: Airparks' transfers operate 24 hours a day and take 10-15 minutes (4 miles). We recommend you arrive 50 minutes before your scheduled check in time.

ROAD WORKS

Please note that roadworks to widen the M1 between junctions 6a and 10 are currently ongoing until the Autumn of 2008, and that occasional motorway closures may occur. We recommend that you check the Highways Agency website before travel to check whether this will directly affect you, and we recommend that you allow extra time for your journey in the event of congestion occurring as a result of the roadworks.

Directions: FROM M1 (North & South): Exit the M1 at Jct 10. At roundabout (over Motorway) take route towards Luton. At the next roundabout (Jct 10a), turn right for A1081 to St Albans/Harpenden *. After 500 yards take the next right (Newlands Rd) towards Slip End. Drive under the motorway and take the next left (B4540 - Church Rd) signposted to Slip End, drive up the hill. At the traffic lights turn right (Grove Rd). Take the first left into the service road and the entrance to Airparks Services is 100 metres on the right. Follow signs to reception arrivals area.

FROM A1(M): Follow the A505 to Luton. At Luton follow signs for A505 and Luton Airport. At the roundabout with Vauxhall Motors on the right (left turn for Airport), proceed straight on, following signs for M1 and St Albans (A1081), which becomes dual carriageway. At the roundabout (Jct 10a) turn left for A1081 to St Albans, then follow the directions from * above. Travelling from Dunstable direction, or from junction 9, "M1" along the A5, turn at the B4540, sign posted "Luton". When reaching the traffic lights turn left into Grove road, travel 100yards, then turn left, site is on the right.

Exit M1 J8 towards Hemel Hempstead Straight across 1st roundabout A414 At next roundabout take 1st exit onto A4147 St Albans Continue forward under M1 motorway towards outskirts of St Albans on A4147 Roundabout take 1st exit A5183 towards Luton Keep on A5183 over several small roundabouts At roundabout adjacent M1 J9 follow A5 towards Dunstable (Markyate) Approx 3 miles, At lights turn right onto Luton Road [B4540] At lights Turn left onto Grove Road After approximately 100 yards turn left into the car park entrance.

Important Information:

We recommend that you allow 40 minutes from checking into the car park to reaching the airport terminal.

Disabled Facilities:

Airparks Luton off-airport car park provides a park and check-in service for disabled customers
Check in using a hand-held device meaning you won't have to leave the car
By prior arrangement, staff are usually available to drive disabled customers to the terminal at Luton Airport

Increasing problems with congestion are being reported at Luton airport airport is advising passengers to makesure they arrive with ample time to spare before their flight (Due to reports of congestion)

Arrive two hours before a European flight
90 minutes before a domestic flight
We strongly recommend that you don't use a sat nav to find Airparks Luton
We've found that with some sat navs, customers have had trouble finding Airparks with just the postcode
There are also two Grove Roads, one in Slip End and the other in Luton town centre
We recommend that you follow the directions given
If you wish to use a sat nav, you should enter Grove Road and the postcode, or Slip End and the postcode.

This car park does not accept mobile homes, lorries, caravans, trailers, minibuses or high sided vehicles even if multiple spaces are booked. Airparks are unable to carry bikes, surfboards or canoes on their buses.

Luggage Scales:

Airparks Luton has luggage scales available for your convenience. You can weigh your bags before you get to the airport and avoid the issue of excess baggage charges. Use of the scales is charged at £1 per minute.

Have used this carpark now numerous times and still proves to be efficient and with friendly staff ... travelling with 2 small children ( 10 wks and 3yrs) so had stress and pressure already and Airparks was extremely effiecient and smooth running as we have always found it so no added stress. Have read other feedback left by others and struggle to believe they have parked at the same carpark. Tried the new service this time where car brought to terminal ... FANTASTIC!!
