Transfers:

All you need to do is park your car, keep your keys and jump on a transfer bus. Complimentary transfers operate on demand, 24 hours a day, for the convenience of all passengers. Transfer time is approximately 5 minutes.

Please note:5 passengers per vehicle will be transferred free of charge; extra passengers will be charged £5 per person for a return transfer.

Security:

First Response has been awarded the Park Mark Award for Safer parking. This indicates that it has adequate safety measures in place to safeguard your vehicle. These include CCTV coverage, security lighting, guard dog patrols, 7 ft electric fencing, a single entrance with a security gatehouse, as well as a rising barrier system for monitored entry and exit.

Upon arrival:

  • Please ensure that you arrive at the car park at least 60 minutes before your earliest recommended check-in time.
  • Report to the First Response reception to show your confirmation, before being directed to your designated parking bay.
  • Make your way to the transfer bus stop and a shuttle will collect you shortly.
  • Enjoy a smooth check-in with complete peace of mind.

On return:

  • You will be provided with a telephone number to ring to arrange for airport pick-up upon your return.
  • When you are back at the car park, drive to the security barrier and hand them your voucher.
  • Head home at your own leisure without any further hassle.

Important information:

  • First Response is a self-park facility where you park your own vehicle and keep your keys. Customers using this car park do so entirely at their own risk.
  • Vehicles more than 2 meters high, 1.83 meters wide, or 4.8 meters long will result in the booking price being doubled.
  • Transfer buses do not have facilities to transport bicycles, snowboards, skis or wheelchairs.

North exit at Junction 19 - follow signs for M56 Manchester Airport. Continue along A556, join M56 to Airport. Then follow directions below**.

From Leeds, Yorkshire, North East England and East Scotland:

Take M62 westbound to Junction 18 and join M60, signed Manchester Airport. Follow M60 to Junction 4 and join M56 signed Manchester Airport. Then follow directions below**.

From Preston, N.W England and West Scotland:

M6 South exit at Junction 20 - Follow signs for M56 Manchester Airport. Then follow directions below**.

From Sheffield, East Midlands and South East England:

M6 South exit at Junction 20 - Follow signs for M56 Manchester Airport. Then follow directions below**.

From North Wales, Wirral and Liverpool:

Follow M56 East towards Manchester Airport. Then follow directions below**.

**Follow above directions and then:

Exit M56 at Junction 5 (Manchester Airport), and follow signs to Terminal 1 & 3. Stay in left lane at lights and follow B5166 Cheadle/ Wilmslow. Continue over mini roundabout, until end of road (T junction). Turn left at lights (Gately). At next set of lights, turn right (Heald Green). Turn 1st right into Irwin Drive and the First Response car park is on your right.
