This is the fourth time I'v used Carminder now Flyaway. However, I'm disappointed that since April 2007 they no longer take you to the terminals but drop you off at the bus station.The staff were helpful at reception but when I mentioned the revised transfers rhey suggested I e-mail you. They did say a lot of people had been complaining.
I can see their point it saves time between terminals but we still had a fair treck to Terminal 1 along the travelators (if they are working) then through the crowds at check in then down the stairs to Jet 2 Com's check in. Before we would have been dropped off at Terminal 1 ground level.
When we came back it was raining and there are no individual shelters at the station. The driver told passengers to shelter under the side of the station building. When we got to the car park whilst the access roads are tarmac the parking areas are not and the loose stone surface is no good for wheeling your luggage even worse in the wet weather.
I am travelling with Jet 2 again in September. I've got quotes for Premier park and Shuttle park that are both cheaper with terminal transfers. I've not booked yet but nearer the time I'll check the prices but if Q park are still using the railway station. I won't be coming back!

I would thoroughly recommend Global to anyone considering parking at Manchester airport. You feel a bit aprehensive as you give your keys away to a stranger but they were excellent. We arrived at 3am, were advised to phone whilst in immigration and then when after we collected our luggage - and the chap was waiting outside. We were very late getting to the car park due to rush hour traffic. The receptionist arranged for one of the drivers to take us immediately to the airport, and we booked our luggage in just as the desk was about to close. We used ringway last year and were very impressed the park is handy for junction 8 on the M 60. We stopped overnight at a the Premier Travel inn about 1 mile away so the park was very handy. We will park at ringway next year again when flying from Manchester - R Taylor 2007-05-24 |

people should be aware that this company drops you off and picks you up at the railway station not the airport,if tou are infirm and the walkway is not workingyou have a major problem,not recommended - thomas young 2007-05-22 |

Ringway is a good 10-15mins away from the airport. Service was superb when we arrived back in the early hours and my car was ready on arrival. Total time from collecting our luggage to getting to my car was about 35mins. Would recommend this to those who don't want to be ripped off by normal airport parking - Andy 2007-05-22 |

After using Airparks in Nottingham last year and being thoroughly unimpressed, I decided to give Q-Park a go. Every member of staff I met was very friendly and helpful, the car parks were well maintained with a nice surface, perimeter fencing and the gate in and out manned at all times. Waited at the bus stop right by my car for 10 minutes, then whisked to the airport, only a stone's throw away! Was given a number to call on arrival and shown where the bus stop was to wait. On return, found the bus stop and the bus was already there! Hopped on board, the driver asked which car park we were in (east or west) then which section (in our case, G) and off we went, dropped off right at the end of our row. No exit until ticket shown, by yet another smiling man! These guys are all so happy! (unlike Nottingham). Would definitely recommend and will definitely use again! I use this car park regularly and the only downside is the irregularity of the bus service, on the last occasion I even had to wait 20 minutes at the car park for a bus to arrive - JS 2007-03-20 |

Arrived at 4.00am the service was fantastic. The return was a disaster due to concentration of flights and staff being off sick. However customer care was amazing - my e-mail was acknowledged in 18 mins, I was telephoned in 25 mins and confirmation of agreement was sent within 5 hours. The transfer driver dropped us off at the arrivals hall and we had to find our way to departures!! The bus whiched picked us up on our return had people on going to departures at other terminals, it was chaos when they tried to get off with their luggage. - 2007-03-13 |

We started using Q-Park when it was carminder, must say big improvment since Q-Park as taken over better surface better parking, don`t have to leave your car keys.using it again in June, for the sixth time, will use it again in the future, can`t fault it. - P & J. Hart 2007-02-11 |

Buses arrived within minutes and took just over 10 minutes to get to airport and back.Drivers helpful and friendly (to those people complaining about drivers not helping them with luggage, they are not insured to do so, dont take luggage you can't carry!!). Staff are fantastic, we had a problem with working the car and they were more than helpful, best ever staff ive met in any company.
