if you value reviews,do not use this place,i never will again, the place is like a scrapyard, when i arrived there was nowhere to park, i had to leave my car blocking the entrance lane,i had already paid by credit card otherwise i would not have left my vehicle there,on my return my car wing mirror had been damaged, the owner in the office blamed me and said he could not be held responsible for bits dropping off peoples cars (does your car wing mirrors fall off by themselves ?)he then invited me to seek legal address if i fancied it !
with this attitude to customers,do you really want to leave your car there ?. - wilkins 2007-02-27 |

This is by far the best off airport car park at Newcastle airport. The staff are very friendly, the car park looks very secure (and has won a secure award I believe) and the airport transfers take you and pick you up right from the door of the airport - not at the pick point next to the bus stops like other companies. The transfer bus comes every 10 minutes too so you don't even have to call them.
The service was great - our flight arrived early but they still had our car out and ready in time because they obviously check on the arrivals regularly.
We recently used the Callerton parking because it was much cheaper than Park & Fly - never again. Callerton was awful and I wish we'd used Park & Fly - we won't make the same mistake in the future, Park & Fly everytime, definitely worth the extra cost! - 2007-01-12 |

When we parked here I was very worried indeed the guy had obviosly been sleeping on a dirty bed and smelt like he had not bathed for a long time. The bus was in poor condition and the car park was most cerainly like a scrap yard. On return when we opened our boot we wandered what had happened to our newly bought map it was all chewed up in the boot by a mouse or a rat that had gained entry at some point. I would not recommend this place at all, very scary! amusing after the event but i shall not return - 2006-12-31 |

Make sure you dont book this. Bellair Parking is maybe £10 more and its worth it. You pull in to what seems like a scrap yard, there is no where to leave your car because of 1 wheeled, A reg ice cream vans. The office is filthy and full of hill billies asleep. The 1 minibus isnt very good either. When we went to get the bus to Callerton from the airport there was 1 bus, massive queues, so the driver said he could take the car driver and then the car driver must return to the airport for the family and luggage. We ended up getting charged in the airport because we were not minibus drivers. The car had obviously been parked in a thick muddy field and had clumps of mud clagged on things on the interior and the out side was covered in mud. At Bellair the car was undercover and even had the engine running and warmed up for when we got off the minibus. If you do use Callerton you can't complain as they cut you off when you call. Have used numerous airport carparks and Callerton is the worst. Save your money and just park in a muddy field! - Mrs Lodge 2006-10-18 |

Excellent both pick and collection - I accept the phone is long walk away but when spoke to Bellair guy about this, they too have complained to Newcastle Airport about this but the airport have refused to move the phone. - 2006-10-06 |

I would highly recommend this carpark. Upon arrival I was booked in quickly and the staff were very friendly. The minibus was ready to take us as soon as we arrived so there was no waiting around and the driver carried our cases for us. On our return we used the freephone number and did not have to wait long before we were picked up. I would definitely use this car park again, and will do so in the near future. - Mrs Porter 2006-09-19 |

On arrival the check in was quick and painless. On return to the car the Family were ready on the coach to go as the pleasant driver had transferred the cases from the car to the coach. A 3min. hop and we were dropped off at the terminal building. It is however approx. 100m walk across roads to the entrance.
Unfortunately on return the pick up of the car was totally different. We walked to the pick up point on the off chance that the coach may arrive whilst dropping off other passengers. Within 5 mins the coach did arrive and pulled up in the allocated area. It was clear then that some amusement was to be had by the driver as he proceeded to reverse as close as he could to my Family and luggage to the point we had to move quickly at the last second to avoid being run over. He then storms off the bus and gives us the third degree as to how long we had been waiting there and why we hadnt used the courtesy phone ?????? We were totally taken back by his manner and attitude as he continued his mutterings throughout the short journey back. So be warned if you get this baldy little scouse bloke with glasses. Hes got problems !! To the management of Bellair... give this guy some customer service training or you will lose more customers like me. We certainly wont be using youre car park again.
( ps. I too have doubts as to wether my car was held undercover for a week as booked. It was very dirty on return) - Paul Kenny 2006-09-02 |

my car was left unlocked boot wide open keys in ignition. This invalidates the insurance if it's pinched. Drove home to find the wheel arch trim missing. When I rang the owner he was very rude kept going off to answer another phone. Told me to write to him through my solicitor. Beware! - simpson 2006-09-01 |

As with previous reviewers, we found the carpark a bit ramshackle at first and the airport transfer bus a bit run down. However, the service was excellent, very professional and courteous; our car was even jet washed. I would definitely use Callerton parking again and would recommend them to a friend. - Vivek 2006-08-27 |

I paid for the undercover parking but on picking the car up it had lots of bird droppings over the roof and bonnet. The question that needs asked is was it actually stored undercover or there is issues with the integrity of there storage either way the vehicle was not returned in the condition i payed for. The second point is that the contact phone is at one end of the airport and the drop off is at the furthest other end although there was no problem with the response of the pick up. - Nik Hitchcock 2006-08-10 |

If I hadn`t already paid by credit card, I would have been off like a shot, the office if you can call it that was filthy with someone asleep on a filthy bed by the desk..I paid for the car to be parked inside..and confirmed this with the man at the desk, when I came back a week later the car was covered in bird sh't and thick with dust, yet on the website it clearly states your car will be washed...their minibus was decrepit, and thats a compliment...oh and their freephone at the airport to tell them your back doesnt work..so you have to find a payphone or use your mobile..I did email them about the state of the car on my return, and the fact it was left outside and asked for an explanation..they never bothered to reply.. steer clear of this midden people...there are plenty other decent car parks - Jimmy Reynolds 2006-07-19 |

The minibus we were collected was a 'T' reg. It had a broken glued windscreen. There was no handle to open the door from the inside of the vehicle, highly dangerous if we'd had an accident! I would have thought this would be tantamount to neglect. Cases were just thrown in the back. We phoned to be collected and when the bus arrived, the man was unkempt and hardly said two words. He picked up other people and told us there would be another bus coming for us. After a 10 minute wait, surprise surprise, back came the same bloke. You'd think with the money they must be making they could afford a decent minibus (assuming they only have the one!) and some sort of uniform for the driver. Shocking! - L Horner 2006-07-03 |

Terrible reliability of cards/readers. Nearly half the time you cannot leave the car park because the magnetic card cannot be read by the machine. Then you have to go back to customer service and get a new card. - mike 2006-06-29 |

Upon arriving at Newcastle airport my family and I searched for the security phone but seemed rather tedious to find. After some searching I gave up and headed outside and noticed 2 Bellair vans in the distance at the drop off/pick up point. I ran toward the driver and asked if he could wait for my family as they were at the terminal door which was not far away. It was just after midnight and we had a tired 4 year old child to contend with and a far way to travel after collecting our car. I told the driver to give me just 5 minutes and gave my name. He checked his list and agreed it would be fine as he still had plenty of space in the van he had. Upon rushing back I was totally ignored by this driver and he took on another couple and child who had arrived just after us. I clearly was not happy with this type of ignorant behavior. They all drove off leaving us including an elderly couple behind who had phoned them. After a while we noticed van racing towards us with a driver who had the most appalling attitude we had ever met.
I was told by this arrogant person being also the supervisor of Bellair if we did not phone as far as he was concerned we could walk to the Bellair car park. He then told me in front of everyone standing around that I had an attitude problem. This person would be sacked never mind disciplined with such obnoxious and rude behaviour. My wife had to step in so I could ignore this person incase any further obtrusive remarks came from his mouth.
After having a fabulous holiday this so happened to be the final straw to end it all off. We are displeased with this car parking company as far as service is concerned. A bit of courtesy would of gone a long way as it costs nothing.
We are hoping that this individual be confronted by his managers as we are hoping to take this matter further. - 2006-06-08 |
